They can assist the operator in lifting any product, in particular in the milk processing sector (cheese wheels) and dairy products. Each manipulator is customized according to the working environment, which may have different space limits in height or width, obstacles in the work area or special production needs. In the dairy factory for the production of Grana Padano, visible in the photo, for example, cheese wheels are immersed and left for several hours in a brine bath before being taken and placed on special trolleys.
Both the immersion and the removal of the cheese wheels must take place within a few seconds, and it is here that the company has carried out a personalized study: the cheese wheel is loaded manually by sliding it onto the cradle of the equipment and then placed inside the tank and vice versa. The working cycle times are respected, with the advantage of handling without weight. Made of stainless steel to withstand the corrosive environments associated with salt baths, the manipulator is equipped with a movable base to serve the processing tank along its entire length.
