Xnext, a deep tech Italian company specializing in multi-energy X-ray inspection systems for real-time quality control in industrial processes, at the last edition of Anuga FoodTec presented XSpectra, its proprietary and patented technology combining photonics, nuclear electronics and artificial intelligence.
This inspection system allows for a real-time identification of high- and low-density foreign bodies (plastic, stones, wood, insects) in food products, currently undetectable by other inspection technologies.
During the event, the company presented three different configurations to show as many applications of the technology to analyse bulk products such as meat and vegetables or packaged products such as biscuits, tortellini and sauces. The inspection system is fully customizable to meet the needs of every type of product.
