Bizerba’s portfolio now includes filling systems. Following the merger with the Swiss company Bush, the weighing specialist Bizerba now integrates its product portfolio with new competencies in filling technology. The company’s fully and semi-automatic filling solutions are suitable for a variety of liquid food products. Semi-automatic filling systems like FSL-Pro M, for instance, can weigh liquids to the gram and safely pack even flammable, foamy and corrosive liquids. In the fully-automatic systems, the containers are automatically transported to the filling station and conveyed to the next processing stations. Similarly to classical weighing applications, key requirements include gram-precise results, precision and flexible functionality. Clean filling processes without any contamination as well as hygienic design are central criteria for food production. For this reason the components of Bizerba’s filling systems are designed for the proper handling of highly sensitive products and according to the requirements of the so-called Ex Zone 1.
