Pamoco’s LinMot SSC tubular linear motors are made in stainless steel Aisi 326. The model is available in two different sizes, with a diameter of either 37 or 48 mm, and two peak forces of 210 N and 888 N. Thanks to the complete encapsulation and the protection class IP69K, these motors are protected against penetration of water and dust. Approved for use in sterile environment typical of food processing industries, the motor features a through hole for the circulation of air and liquids. This series of motors is actuated by single-axis or multi-axis LinMot drives, suitable for connection to a wide range of fieldbus interfaces available on the market. The design of these linear motors makes them standard elements in the field of machine design, where they are commonly used to replace pneumatic drives and mechanical cam disks. In particular, the linear motor is used for controlling more than two positions, when the position is changed via software, or when the life of the pneumatic cylinder and its dynamics are not enough.
