The use of long sleeves and elastic wrists when working in contact with food or with instruments that will then come into contact with food is ideal for preventing the loss of hair or portions of skin of the operator and for protecting the operator from mechanical risks and burns. Detachable parts (buttons, studs) are kept to a minimum, but where present they are covered and made of easily identifiable colours.

The buttons are press-fit and made of stainless steel. The outer pockets in the upper part of the body have been removed, but when really necessary, they are designed to prevent the contents from falling out inadvertently. They usually have a flap with Velcro or press studs. The available colours allow immediate identification of dirt, and the fabrics comply with EN 13688:2013 requirements.
