The Riel 50.150 fluting machine designed and constructed by Antenore Visentin for fluting high hardened or cast iron cylinders with a maximum diameter of 500 mm. Designed for use in the milling sector or other similar secotrs, the unit can flute also dosing or feeding cylinders. Usually the flutes have a helical shape, with different inclination angles. The machine comes complete with a user-programmable electronic panel with touch screen. The fluting machine has two tools that are fixed to the revolving turret. The cutting tools are perpendicular on the rollers, thus allowing better control and more visibility of the work area. The table is supported by sliding guides with recirculating SKF balls. A brushless motor controls the movement of the table and cutting speed and quick return are programmable. The divider is controlled by a second programmable brushless motor.
