Valcom designs and develops measuring and control instruments for the measurement of level, pressure, temperature, flow, differential pressure, density, and presence of liquid. A series of transmitters are manufactured for the dairy industry, and feature food-grade connections, and specifically Nut and Triclamp. Flanged and threaded versions are available for specific measuring positions, even with TFE coating, and TA or HC diaphragms, as well as other materials on request. The most frequently detected products are liquid foodstuffs, as for example milk. The most frequently used instruments are pressure and level transmitters of the T7 and 27 series, and level switches of the ASL 400 series, for the detection of alarm levels. The picture shows the Series 27 pressure and level transmitters, characterised by a standard current output of 4÷20 mA (or 0÷5 V, 0÷10 V). Entirely stainless steel, they guarantee an detection accuracy of ±0,25% and a temperature range between -40÷85°C. The housing can be combined with different electric connections: DIN43650 pins, M12 with straight or angle pattern, MIL connectors, direct cable outlet, cable gland or stainless steel nipple on Ø55 mm housing, equipped with terminal box.
