Vacuum packaging+sealing


Cryovac SVS45 is the continuous-flow packaging and sealing system for cheese of any size designed by Sealed Air. There is no vacuum on the cheese since the machine gently and completely extracts air from the pack preserving cheese quality, texture and taste.

Easy to install, with integrated packaging into continuous and automated cheese making process, it provides operator-free operation, and offers economic benefits: low maintenance costs, energy and compressed air savings. The cheese can be packaged straight from brine in wet conditions.

The sealing in the middle helps equalizing tension of the shrink bag. The unit can handle from consumer portions to large industry formats (500 g to 25 kg). The production speed depends on the linear speed divided by the bag’s width, and ranges from 10 to 40 pieces/min.

During sealing, the pressure, temperature and sealing height are fully adjustable. Traditionally used thermoforming materials weigh 71 g/package, while this machine is designed for shrink bags weighing less than half (32 g/package), resulting in a reduction in materials and carbon dioxide emissions.
