Pietribiasi developed a semi-automatic machine for the production of butter sticks in different sizes, characterized by an output of 150-200 kg/h (variable according to the format and the operator’s speed). The bearing structure is of the closed type, with welded stainless steel plates. The rectangular or round mouth is in stainless steel Aisi 304, like the two (round or square) stick moulds and the pins of the gears mounted on ball bearings. Other construction specifications and equipment include: anticorodal aluminium cutter with interchangeable stainless steel threads; aluminium/magnesium gear unit with dry lubrication and variable-pitch spirals in non-toxic Teflon; aluminium rollers onto which butter sticks slide at the exit; control box with water-proof protections connected to the stick-forming machine by means of a 4-m long flame-retardant electrical cable. The machine measures 1260x360x810 mm and weighs 150 kg; it is equipped with a 400 V/50 Hz/0,75 kW motor.
