Cepi designs modular outdoor silos in stainless steel Aisi 304, suitable for storing food powders. Manufactured on the company’ site, in a special tower, they consist of self-bearing elements that are welded one on top of the other, entirely smooth inside to avoid the persistence of leftovers. Product extraction is made by vibrating cone or fluidized bed. Even multiple extractions are possible to feed several production lines. Compliant with EC regulations, the silos are certified by the University of Bologna (load analyses and structural verification). The standard layout comprises: access door to the skirt; mechanic safety valve for overpressure and depression control; manhole for inspection and cleaning. Optional accessories: recovering filters for dusts compliant with EC regulations; explosion-proof hatch; anti-condensation system with temperature probe; electronic control and air exhauster; stairs built according to EC regulations and protection rail on the roof; min/max level probes; weighing cells and microprocessor for real-time display of the weight; Cepatic safety system against loading overpressure.
