In the last four years, following the request of some cutters of hard cheese like Parmigiano Reggiano, Faber has designed various customised systems. The machines are built with food-grade materials, FDA certified, and equipped with stainless steel motors.
Plexiglass guards have been replaced with Tech stainless steel mesh guards. The machines are constructed entirely inside the company, which avails itself of its own carpentry department, mechanical workshop and after-sales service that can take care of preventive maintenance interventions and remote thermography.
The range of machines and lines for processing hard and semi-hard cheese includes: wheel cutters, (patented) in-line scrapers, dicers, triangle cutters, fixed weight and stick lines, manipulators, cutter for petals or cubes. The picture shows the Cupè dicer, ideal to obtain petals or cubes of hardened cheese that were previously peeled and flattened and shaped into discs.
