GRC started as a workshop for the production of equipment for the food-processing and canning industry. Over the years, the company extended its knowledge in this field thanks to the continuous search for advanced solutions and the use of state-of-the-art instruments. Meeting the needs of the canning industry means also meeting specific customer’s needs, according to the following steps: technical assessment of each component with detailed description of its characteristics; use of suitable materials, such as tool-grade steel and stainless steel; accurate quality control following heat treatment for hardening and tempering or nitriding; application of additional surface coatings, such as CVD, PVD or Hard Chrome; accurate control of the entire production cycle. All manufactured equipment (seaming rolls and chucks, beading sectors etc.) is grounded to centesimal accuracy on both traditional and CNC numeric-control machine tools. In particular, profiles are carefully crafted and controlled to achieve high standards of dimensional and geometric precision and surface smoothness.
