With the recent launch of the Rocket E-500 pallet wrapper, a system that uses Kraft paper instead of plastic film, ACMI marks a new direction in the production of “plastic free” secondary packaging systems.
Based on a robotic technology developed by the company, the wrapper reaches speeds of 100 pallets/h and has an ergonomic design.
The patented reel unwinding system, the heart of the machine, allows the Kraft paper to be applied to the pallet, ensuring the same results as a plastic film in terms of stability and protection against external agents. The “GoGreen by ACMI” project represents the vision of a plastic-free food & beverage industry.
Thanks to the introduction of this wrapping machine, which goes alongside a series of “plastic free” machines, from high-speed tray formers to robotic cartoning machines and horizontal cartoning machines, the company has completed the green range and is now able to offer a sustainable eco-friendly plastic-free secondary packaging system.
