Tecnomeccanica Bellucci proposes PF-W4, a system for the automatic collection and handling of curd bundles that makes the work of dairy operators easier and safer. Made up of at least two trolleys with hooks that move along an elevated monorail, it allows to manage two double-layers simultaneously.
Powered by lithium batteries, the plant has a control system managed via industrial Wi-Fi connection. The trolleys are independent, each equipped with its own plc connected via Wi-Fi to the central system. Many safety features, which also include proximity sensors with audible indicators and LEDs on the trolleys.
The power supply of the system requires low energy consumption because it is done with a 24 V DC line. The electric motors that lift the hooks are calibrated both to lift the weight of the bundles and to lock if the tolerances are exceeded.
The automatic unloading system and the handling assisted by a pneumatic arm complete the equipment of the system, suitable for the specifications Industry 4. 0. A rail interchange system similar to that of train tracks is an option to reduce the number of trolleys used and the number of metres of rail to be installed.
