Veneta Botti can satisfy the requests of all winemakers: round and oval casks; closed vats for fermentation and wine ageing; open vats; barrels (barriques) from 225 to 500 litres. The comprehensive range includes also Roll Fermentor, a system that, thanks to its easy handling, offers the possibility to develop quality micro-cuvées, obtaining wines with a particular aromatic complexity. Fermentation, maturing and ageing can be carried out in a single container. The grapes are directly fed into the barrel through the stainless steel manhole. During alcoholic fermentation, the oxygenation – guaranteed by the porosity of the wood – allows the transformation of phenolic compounds, the polymerization of tannins, and an excellent aromatic evolution. The clever 360° rotation system facilitates the breaking of the film on the marc, facilitating the homogenization of the liquid and solid parts, and favouring the extraction of skin compounds. The system can be easily moved with a forklift of pallet jack. For emptying it, the rest with the roll has to be raised above the press and turned.
