A clear example of this is our ALritma X, the best that ALTECH technology has to offer. Based on the standard ALritma model, which is by now a widespread success around the world, ALritma X was designed and developed to satisfy labelling requirements where precision and speed are fundamental prerequisites. It is equipped with a powerful stepper motor which is a higher-performance model than on the standard ALritma, allowing it to achieve labelling speeds of 40 m/min.
A special high-performance kit is available to further improve throughput, consisting of an innovative and sophisticated “push-pull” label web drive system which can reach speeds of 90m/min at a rate of 900-1000 labels per minute (this configuration is particularly suitable for rotary labellers). Despite its high operating speed, ALritma X maintains exceptional labelling precision regardless of the size or shape of the label, even in the event of variations in the product transport speed.
ALritma X can also be equipped with a printer module offering speeds of up to 200 labels/min, ideal for products requiring variable data on their labels. Finally, for particular applications in which the label rolls are used up quickly, or where it is impossible or inconvenient to interrupt the production line, it is possible to create a non-stop system with two labelling heads.
ALTECH has recently upgraded the ALritma X with some new mechanical tweaks and the introduction of a new, more powerful, more compact and higher-performance motor. Another important upgrade involves the control logic, in other words the control box for the labelling head. As well as an aesthetic makeover, it has also seen significant software improvements, with a new graphical interface incorporating new functions available to the user.
