SDS Technology food autoclaves are part of the basic equipment of the food industry. These simple machines consist of a stainless-steel tank with pressure control systems. They allow food to be sterilized to remove any pathogenic micro-organism using high-pressure steam.
The physical principle is based on the increase in water temperature caused by pressure, which considerably reduces the time of exposure of food and minimizes the alteration of its organoleptic properties. Food pasteurizers are special types of autoclaves. Autoclaves may have different sizes depending on the amount of product to be treated.
The company’s wide range of sterilizers and autoclaves, with capacities of 30 and 60 litres, meets the needs of processing laboratories; they can sterilize 60 vessels and 100 314-cc-vessels respectively. The larger electric models have capacities ranging from 100 to 700 litres and measure 1000 mm in diameter with two or three loading shuttles.
