Immediate (primary) packaging
Primary packaging on horizontal flowpack machines and secondary packaging on automatic carton wrappers play a major role at Ipack-Ima 2015 with a complete system for the distribution in rows of bakery products arriving from the processing line, and their automatic feed to the horizontal wrapper FP095. This machine features also the automatic distribution of the carton interleaf onto which the product is placed before being wrapped with film. The cycle is completed by the robotized carton filling station. The vertical pillow pack wrapping is represented by model FV210, a fully electronic machine with cantilevered structure. Its high performance results in connection with the multi-head scale, which can reach top-quality performances. This series of vertical wrappers featuring an absolutely new design can be equipped with various devices to create the most various types of packages. In fact, the same machine can be used to produce different types of bags, as pillow packs or doypacks.

Secondary packaging
Secondary flowpack packaging can be valued by exhibition visitors on the double system for the arrival and arrangement of primary packs combined with the electronic horizontal flowpack wrapper FP210. Characterized by a long sealing time, this top-performing model has been implemented by the world’s largest industrial companies. The H4S wrapper with in-line loading is a fine example of the company’s design flexibility. In this case, visitors can see how an absolutely particular package can be obtained from flat film. It is a case with 4 perimeter seals, double bottom with folded flaps, designed to contain single packs of stick bread.

The common factors of all machines
All Tecno Pack machines have common factors that distinguish them in the international landscape of primary and secondary packaging. To begin with, they ensure a long shelf-life of the product, maintaining the initial quality levels of the product unchanged; furthermore, an armoured pack protects the product against collisions and movements. Flow-pack in controlled atmosphere provides for longer shelf-life also thanks to the pre-heating of the gas introduced into the pack and to the perfectly tight seals. The highly-accurate control of gas temperature allows packing both standard as well as vacuum packs. Flexibility is another peculiarity, together with traceability, guaranteed by printable film code and labelling systems that ensure the correctness and completeness of sensible data. High operating speeds, depending on the formats, allow the wrapping of products with a rate up to 200 packs per minute. The cantilevered frame of Tecno Pack wrapping machines allows for a complete separation between moving parts, motorizations, and electric system.
