SIG Combibloc has gained another new customer: Cooperoeste, based in São Miguel do Oeste, in Santa Catarina State in the far west of the country. Has invested in a filling machine CFA 512 for UHT milk products of the popular Terra Viva brand into 1,000 ml carton packs. The investment is part of Cooperoeste’s goal of optimising production costs and being able to offer food at affordable prices. Terra Viva product portfolio includes a range of UHT milk, various cheese products and pickled gherkins. The newly installed CFA 512 filling machine is able to fill up to 12,000 carton packs every hour, with a high level of flexibility and efficiency, low water and energy consumption and minimal waste. Once the packs are filled, an automatic palletiser ensures that everything continues to run smoothly and efficiently during the subsequent stages. This new line configuration will mean a huge boost in productivity.
