To help system builders and food producers, Festo has developed a range of “clean-design” components. This range of products, designed for use in hygienically critical environments or environments subject to intensive cleaning, integrates the valves of the MPA-C series. These valves meet the requirements for protection class IP69K and CRC4, the highest corrosion resistance class from Festo.

Thanks to a redundant seal system, these components allow trouble-free, intensive cleaning with high pressure jets or foam, enabling installation in locations with harsh environmental conditions. The valves are produced with FDA approved materials and are being lubricated using NSF-H1 food-grade grease. MPA-C valves are very sturdy and functional, and feature many innovative valve functions; their modular sub-base design facilitates maximum flexibility to easily expand to a maximum of 32 valves or solenoid coils.
