Danfoss Drives provides the portfolio of VLT FlexConcept frequency converters, a mix combining the OneGearDrive gearmotor, available in hygienic and standard version, the AutomationDrive FC 302 inverter and the new permanent magnet Decentral Drive FCD 302, also available in hygienic and standard version. FlexConcept is the ideal choice for any application where hygiene is especially important, and it perfectly fits on existing process equipment. The portfolio includes also the Midi Drive FC 280 inverter, flexible and easy to use, with integrated safety functions.As a result of the merger between Danfoss and Vacon, the range of available power covers from 0.18 kW to 5.3 kW, and comprises low voltage drives, servo drives, soft starters and dedicated inverter drives for specialized applications and decentral drives. The core of drives, i.e. the IGBTs of the power stages, are produced by a company of the group, Danfoss Silicon Power, in order to optimize the level of performance and improve the reliability of this range of products.
