With a higher resolution and many illumination functions, even complex applications are remarkably easy to solve. In fact, the 2D vision sensor checks every characteristic of any object placed in front of it. It is an extremely versatile device, whose sensitivity and precision make sure there is the correct amount of sesame seeds on a roll.

The Dualis sensor is available with infrared or RGB-W illumination. The latter makes it possible to distinguish objects by their colour. In strongly fluctuating light conditions, it takes up to 5 images with different exposure times and then selects the optimally illuminated image for quality control.
