Icelab is an innovative system for semi-automatic storage and packaging of ice, suitable to produce bags of ice in small and medium quantities.

Designed by Friostar to ensure maximum hygiene, efficiency, and operating comfort, it allows ice to be packaged in an upright position, without direct contact with the operator and in full compliance with Haccp regulations. Thanks to automatic and precise dosing, the process is quick. It’s a plug-and-play system, expandable and compatible with any ice maker. Installation is simple, making the ice makers on top of the unit, which automatically refills 24/7.

Thanks to water recovery and pre-cooling of the production water, energy consumption is reduced by up to 20% compared to traditional systems. The automatic version with Siemens plc integrates into Industry 4.0 processes, offering real-time monitoring, diagnostics and consumption management, even remotely. Adjustable volumetric dosing unit 1,5 ÷ 2,5 kg.
