TFS Thermoformers for flexible or rigid film from Ulma Packaging are suitable for packaging all kinds of sliced cheeses. The modular construction allows complete adaptability in terms of pack format and production. The main frame design with a closed profile provides extraordinary strength and rigidity to the machine. Inclined surfaces, entirely in stainless steel Aisi 304, allow water to drain during cleaning operations. Easy open side guards provide for easy cleaning of the machine inside, whereas the open design repels the accumulation of container residues. The 80-g cheese pack in the picture has been obtained on a TFS 600 running at 10 cycles/min, with lower rigid 280 micron film. By changing the forming plates, the same machine can package even cheese wedges. These machines can form the top film to create a recloseable freshness-saver lid.
