Faac, Italian leader in the construction of automatic gates, presents its new B 680H barrier featuring Hybrid technology (24V direct voltage brushless motor with hydraulic technology), characterised by long working life, quick opening, safety, flexibility, integrated flashing traffic lights, and a new design permitting easy repairs. Thanks to the use of an electric brushless motor in oil bath, the barriers have been designed for more than two million continuous-use cycles. The balance spring provides for a longer working life, and doesn’t have to be periodically replaced. The high opening and closing speed, electronically selectable, allows short opening times: 2.3m beams in 1.5 seconds and 8.3m beams in less than 6 seconds. The barrier performance guarantee total safety thanks to the absolute encoder kit mounted directly on the shaft that reverses the movement of the beam in presence of an obstacle. Right and left versions are obtained by simply shifting the balance spring; whereas the beam can be easily extended to cover larger passages (from 2 to 8m). Electricity is supplied by a switching feeder that accepts input voltages ranging from 100 to 240 Vac, and is stable to power surge.
