The range of wrapping and packaging machines proposed by Imbal Stock for cheese and dairy products includes shrink-wrappers, flow-pack wrappers and bundling machines. Automatic and semi-automatic shrink-wrappers use special and traditional shrink films to create perfectly transparent packages ensuring complete visibility of the product. Automatic flow-pack wrappers (HFFS), for horizontal wrapping, use a single film reel to produce packs with three welded sides, two cross-sectional and one longitudinal. Designed for use with shrink-film, when complete sealing is required the bundling machines use two film reels, whereby the film is sealed transversally to envelop the product. The European Directive EN 13432 defines in detail the compostable properties of a biodegradabale material (chemical breakdown of materials into biomass and water under pre-determined conditions). Therefore, and due to the company’s sensitivity to environmental impact, Imbal Stock supports the use of PLA films for increasingly recyclable packs.
