Proget Sistem Italia extends its range with a new series of solutions developed for labelling trays of fresh or dry pasta, ravioli or stuffed pasta, olives, sauces, and any other food product packed in trays. Among these, there is Multilab3, suitable to apply labels on the upper and lower surface of trays arriving from thermoforming machines; the trays are aligned and conveyed on the conveyor belt equipped with a spacing device. The eXattaG6DXL 2012 print&apply unit can print variable data or product name on the upper part of the pack, using a Datamax printing system, with 160 mm transit width, and 12 dots definition. The linear eXattaG4DXL3012 print&apply unit (100 mm label) can apply and print technical data, production batch, ingredients, best before date, and bar code on the lower part of the package. Finally, Collamat EC2610 applies the label on the tray. The system is controlled via PC touch screen, with graphic interface and dedicated software, which improves operator comfort while selecting the available labels. All functions and alarms are controlled via the central control board.
