Milk Box from Giro Tech is a certified milk sampler, approved according to UNI-ISO 10746/1999 standards.  Subject to constant technological evolution, it has all the properties required for an effective global traceability along the milk supply chain. Its full name – Milk Box Hi-Performance – already says a lot about the system’s potential. As a matter of fact, this equipment allows a rapid “complete raw material control”, allowing to pay a fair price for the milk with minimum and long-lasting investments. It is equipped with on-board clock, memory, temperature sensor, barcode reader for recognition of the transferor, alarms for determining the representativeness of the sampling and the suitability of collected milk. It features a high-resolution screen, suitable to display all working cycles, and can be connected to sixteen sensors or feedback systems operating as litre meters, weight meters, pH-meters, check valves a.o. Stepper motors enable an almost limitless sampling from any type and mass of milk (cow, buffalo, sheep and goat), and guarantee the representativeness of the samples according to relevant legislation. Thanks to its flexibility, the milk sampler can be easily integrated into processing lines (milk delivery, introduction of cultures, drainage of whey and cleaning solutions) even in other food sectors (yoghurt, cream, fruit juice, beer, oil, wine). Robust and strong, safe and convenient, handy and simple to use and maintain, it features sophisticated electronics and Milk Web software, available also on Smartphone.

Certified chain traceability
The Milk Web program combines the need for traceability and retraceability along the supply chain – including all administrative and accounting procedures – with continuous and methodical control of the raw material through the sampling activities performed with the milk samplers. Together, device and program, represent the synthesis of Giro Tech’s experience in the milk sector, and the company’s long-term relationship with small and big sector leaders. With just a few clicks, the operators of the milk and dairy sector can transform burdensome writing and registration activities related to milk collection into storable data, avoiding manual transcripts and filing. Equipping all transporters with Milk Web, in fact, all prints and records are provided in an electronic format, easily available and accessible at all time. This flexible program can handle all activities related with milk collection, from the stable to the discharge to shuttles and/or factories. Its ease of installation and use enable operators to be immediately effective, and to perform representative samplings with recovery of all data on temperature, acidity, pH, satellite position, date and temperature, vehicle kilometres, stops and detours from set routes. With a low environmental impact, Giro Tech’s project enables the immediate control of raw material and processed product, via administration programs that are already in use and/or through the MBM platform used to manage the milk quota regime.

Milk collection and transport are safe with the Milk Web program. The intuitive user interface can be approached also by operators who are not specialised in IT applications

For all the companies of the milk and dairy sector
Milk Web requires little or no maintenance at all; any software updates, included in the license fee, take place in real time with remote access via Web. In view of the fact that truck drivers are not computer specialists, the milk sampler and its program facilitate the work and make it possible to overcome existing obstacles thanks to an intuitive user interface.  Being compatible, these devices can be used with terminals of one generation and printers of another one, for instance, and can guarantee any type of hardware and software intervention.
