Vortex, the fixed pallet stretch wrapper from Acmi, mounts reels with a height of 500 mm, 750 mm or 1,000 mm. Characterized by its small dimensions, this machine is equipped with an electronic pre-stretching unit that is able to continuously vary the film pre-stretching level according to the type of product and the number of turns. This stretch wrapper can optimize reel consumption while ensuring the pallet stability. The working speed can reach 150 pallets per hour, ideal for handling half and quarter pallets. High speeds do not adversely affact product handling , which is always gentle. Even the “bar against bar” film welding system has been designed in orger to protect the product, as the film is not welded on the surface of the product. The available equipment includes: automatic changeover of the pre-stretching unit, providing for long operational autonomy; “top-cover” dispenser system and hermetic “waterproof” cycle system.
