Sydav (Digital Advanced Visualization), the visualization system by Sygest, is a useful tool for assemblers for the installation of different machine components. Featuring a moderately sized monitor, no 2D prints are required, with considerable savings in terms of time, paper and design. The visualization can be used also to identify missing components during assembly. With real-time management of updates through the direct integration with ERP/PDM, it is possible to benefit of the advantages of a LEAN process, with relevant improvement of production efficiency and reduction of production Lead Time. This unique tool can be used either in the construction phase of the product (assembly) or in the after-sales phase. The working environment exploits all the data received from the 3D model: the designs of specific details and their metadata are linked to all relevant documents. Navigation is possible using either the bill of materials or directly on the 3D model, with continual bidirectional synchronization.
