Horizontal Wrappers
The latest is the FP 100E Series, the technology concentrate that Tecno Pack puts at the service of the most demanding food industry. This series of high-speed horizontal packaging machines is the result of decades of technological evolution and experience gained with the world’s leading market players. This is the most advanced horizontal flowpacker by the Vicenza-based company, completely electronic, with a cantilever structure for complete sanitation.
It features motorised film unwinding calender and side-sealing unit with two independent motors. The transversal sealing units fitted on the FP 100 E are available both in long dwell (with fast changeover system) and high-speed box motion version. The box motion version is presently the fastest prolonged sealing system of this type. In fact, it can combine the versatility of traditional D-like motion cut-seal machines, also known as long-dwell, with the versatility of translating cut-seal machines, aptly known as box motion.
The packaging machine, designed for integration into automatic lines, is rich in benefits: Ultimate operational precision, mechanic and electronic stability, high-speed for prolonged sealing, controlled atmosphere (MAP), micrometric dosing of liquids such as alcohol and antimould, integration of advanced printing systems, and upstream and downstream interaction with any integrated system, easy and user-friendly touch screen.
Vertical and end-of-line packaging
For the packaging of products in pouches, Tecno Pack also offers a wide range of vertical packaging machines. Among these FV 210 in left-hand version five-axis electronic. Robust mechanical steel construction with anti-corrosive epoxy powder coated finish (RAL 9007), with vertical anodized aluminium plate onto which all parts are fixed. All the functional groups are positioned on a cantilevered structure to allow an easier cleaning and maintenance process, and to avoid the accumulation of product residues inside the machine structure.
AISI 304 stainless steel is the material of choice for all parts in contact with the product. The efficiency of the FV 210 is ensured by a powerful drive system with two brushless motors for film pulling, one 1 kW servomotor for transversal sealing unit control, one 1.5 kW servomotor for film unwinding control and one 400 W motor for vertical sealing bar movement control. Also palletising is now a Tecno Pack flagship thanks to the acquisition of Skilled-Eurompianti, a company that designs and builds palletizing and pallet handling systems for all the main types of packaged products, as well as automatic and laser-guided vehicles.
One of the most recent achievements is the palletizing cell with wrapper. Extremely compact, it was designed to meet the needs of a customer looking for a plant to be installed in a very tight space and capable of handling lose bundles of white flour which make the pallet unstable to be transported around the plant. The solution was to integrate a stretch wrapper in the palletizing cell and wrap the pallet in steps: as many layers the robot was palletizing the stretch wrapper was wrapping.
