PIM presents the HSCD High Speed Cold Dryer, an innovation designed for industrial food drying.

Combining non-ionizing electromagnetic waves and vacuum in a dynamically controlled system, the system dries any product or compound of organic, plant, or animal origin at temperatures between 15 and 35°C, up to ten times faster than traditional methods, preserving color, flavor, taste, and nutrients.

The drying system guarantees up to 80% energy savings, lower CO2 emissions, and full recovery of extracted water, for a truly circular and sustainable process. Tests on over 150 products, from fruit to meat, from aromatic and medicinal herbs to food waste, from vegetables to legumes and even fish, confirm the repeatability and quality of the result: a “living,” natural, and safe food, with a 5-log reduction in microbiological load and zero oxidation.
