With the Mozzamatic + MBP line, Prima and PFM have joined forces for the production and packaging of Burrata. The basis is the Mozza-Burrata 2T Plus automatic forming machine that produces burrata without any contact with the operator, under hygienic and controlled conditions, at a speed of 2500/3000 pieces/h.
The process is synchronous and continuous thanks to two dosing station with six injectors each, which can handle large volumes without compromising product quality. The machine includes a burrata forming and closing system that simulates manual intervention, ensuring “artisanal” aesthetics and constant structure.
From the Mozzamatic forming machine, the burrata is transferred to the MBP packaging machine with a completely automatic cycle: Picking-up empty containers; filling; sealing; brine dosing; package unloading.
The system is based on advanced technologies for quality control, including precision weighing of individual pieces; automatic rejection of underweight or damaged burrata; container presence control with automatic stop if there is no container. The packaging system is suitable for various sizes, and more than 2500 pieces/h.
